- Follow the written directions provided by your teacher (in class)
- Look at the "good" and "bad" examples of display boards in class
- Read your rubric and know the expectations for the display board; ask questions if you have them
- Use your in-class work time appropriately: you should have enough time to type up everything, print everything. The only thing you will need to finish at home is actually assembling (gluing/taping) your information to your display board
- Tri-fold display boards can be purchased at Walmart, Target and office supply stores. Boards come in a variety of sizes, the standard size your should look for (they can be larger, but not smaller): 33.5" x 46"
- Helpful tips for display boards:
- Headings and Titles for sections need to be bold and underlined in an easy to read font and color
- All typing should be free of spelling/grammar errors
- Make sure your most important graphs make your display board
- Be creative, but use color appropriately
- Make sure all papers/photos are secured to your board--use tape or gluesticks
- Make sure all your sections fit nicely on your board following the layout design on your instruction sheet
